End Of Life - This download, Intel® Network Adapter Driver for PCIe* Intel® 10 Gigabit Ethernet Network Connections Under Linux* 3.23.2.1, will no longer be available after Sept. 6, 2019 and will not be supported with any additional functional, security, or other updates. All versions are provided as is. Intel recommends that users of Intel® Network Adapter Driver for PCIe* Intel® 10 Gigabit Ethernet Network Connections Under Linux* 3.23.2.1 upgrade to the latest driver version at your earliest convenience.

ixgbe-x.x.x.tar.gz is designed to work with Intel 82598-, 82599-, and X540-based PCI-Express* 10 gigabit Ethernet adapters/connections under Linux*.  The latest version and earlier versions of this driver are available from SourceForge.

If your Intel® 10 Gigabit Ethernet Network Connection is not 82599-, 82598-, or X540-based, you will likely need to use the ixgb-x.x.x.tar.gz Linux driver, which supports all Intel® 82597-based PCI-X 10 gigabit network adapters/connections.

This driver includes support for Intel® Itanium® Processor-based and Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T) systems.

This release supports the latest 2.4 series kernel as well as 2.6.x and 3.x versions.
