Recommended for end-customers. Includes download options for driver-only and driver with Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software.

Purpose:
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software is recommended for end-customers, including home users and business customer who do not need advanced IT Administrator tools.

Confused about what to download?
This software is recommended for end-users.  Confirm that you have Windows Vista 64-Bit* operating system before installing.  Follow these steps to check if your operating system is 32-Bit or 64-Bit.

Please ensure that your wireless adapter is supported by this download.  The following links will assist you in determining which wireless adapter is installed in your computer system.
Automatically detect and update your drivers and software with the Intel Driver Update Utility.
Manually identify your Intel® wireless adapter and driver version number.

Which file should you download?
To install DRIVERS ONLY download: ICS_Dv64.exe
To install drivers and PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software download: ICS_v64.exe

How to Install:
ICS_Dv64.exe: Download to a folder on your PC. Double click on ICS_Dv64.exe to launch installation.
ICS_v64.exe: Download to a folder on your PC. Double click on ICS_v64.exe to launch installation.

Additional Notes:
Features removed from this version:
Wake on Wireless LAN is not present in this version of the application.
The Intel® My WiFi Technology application is not supported for Windows Vista. This feature is available on Windows 7* only.
