Recommended for IT Administrators. Includes driver-only and Intel® PROSet/Wireless Basic Enterprise Software distribution packages.

Purpose:
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Basic Enterprise Software is recommended for large corporations, universities and medical centers. Smaller organizations may also find the installation and deployment features useful.

Manually identify your Intel® wireless adapter and driver version number.

Which file should you download?
Confirm that you have Windows 7 32-Bit Operating System. After selecting download from this page and accepting the end user license agreement, you will be prompted with a popup menu.

ICS_Ds32.zip - this is a compressed package which includes all files required to install the wireless adpter drivers only. The ZIP package allows you to extract the drivers for installation on multiple systems.

ICS_s32.zip - this is a compressed package which includes all files required to install the wireless adapter drivers and PROSet/Wireless Basic Software on a Windows 7 32-Bit system. The ZIP package allows you to extract the drivers and software for installation on multiple systems.

IT Administrators may want to consider using Intel® PROSet/Wireless Advanced Enterprise Software which includes features such as the IT Administrator Toolkit, Adapter Switching and Reset PROSet.

How to install:
ICS_Ds32.zip: Download to a folder on your PC. Use a 3rd party unzip application to open ICS_Ds32.zip and unzip the contents.


ICS_s32.zip: Download to a folder on your PC. Use a 3rd party unzip application to open ICS_s32.zip and unzip the contents.

Features removed from this version:
Wake on Wireless LAN is not present in this version of the application.
The Intel® My WiFi Technology application is not supported for Windows Vista. This feature is available on Windows 7 only.

Intel® Wireless Display Customers:
Intel® My WiFi Technology is now installed by default. Because of this, Intel® Wireless Display users no longer need to install a special version of Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility.

How to update your software:
1. Close the Intel® Wireless Display Software.
2. Install the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software.
3. Install the Intel® Wireless Display Software.

-Intel® My WiFi Technology has the following requirements:
   -Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300, Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200, Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250, Intel® WiFi Link 1000, Intel® WiFi Link 5300, or Intel® WiFi Link 5100

OEM Supplied Versus Intel Provided Generic Software:


Intel recommends that you obtain and use the software provided via your laptop manufacturer.
